“ Thank you to The Cortez Club and its crew, we had the most wonderful weekend scuba diving in La Paz. The service and gear attitude from our guide and captain made the day even more fun and joyful but the actual diving was extraordinary and beyond my expectations. Just in a 2 tank day we got to dive with a couple of Giant pacific manta rays that cruised around us most of the dive; curious sea lions along the way, a turtle, many green moray eels, free swimming spotted jewel moray eel, one shy zebra moray eel, many different and very colorful nudibranchs, lobsters, a couple of octopus and many schools of fish throughout the dives.
Both days we had surprises on our way back that made this weekend even more memorable. One day we encountered a pod of hundreds of dolphins and were calm enough that we decided to jump in and snorkel with them. We were in the water with them for a good 30 min, such a feel-good moment!!!! And then on Sunday I got to see a family of 5 orcas super close to our boat which to my surprise it’s not that rare at all around this area since they have them all year round. ”
