The Whale shark is the largest fish on the planet and there are few Whale species larger in size. Thought to reach up to a possible 20 meters and 34 tons it seems difficult to believe that Whale Sharks feed on microscopic plankton and small fish. The combination of its immense size and characteristic checkerboard pattern makes the Whale Shark almost unmistakable and completely unforgettable. Snorkeling with the Whale Sharks has got to be one of the most uplifting experiences in the world.
