We are lucky to be situated amongst the breathtaking beauty of the Sierra de La Giganta - a magnificent backdrop to our most valued natural resource, The Sea of Cortez. Called the "World's Aquarium" (by Captain Jacques Cousteau), it is a must for all diving enthusiasts. As a visitor to this underwater paradise, you can expect to see some of the most impressive marine animals in the world; Hammerhead sharks, Whale sharks, Blue, Gray and Orca Whales, Dolphins and Giant Pacific Manta Rays, to name but a few.
With two Dive centres placed within the two most Luxurious Resorts in La Paz,
you'll find everything you need on site. From shops, numerous restaurants and
bars and most importantly the private white sandy beaches. We have the latest
watersports equipment ranging from scuba rental and technical and Rebreather
(SCR & CCR) equipment, Sea Kayaks, Windsurfers, Sail craft, Hobie catamarans,
several large fully equipped dive boats, and a custom built, high-speed dive
boats that reaches all the best sites in a third of the time. Some of our organized
expeditions include: whale watching and kayak camps, Multi-day kayaking trips,
liveaboard dive programs, snorkelling with Sea Lions and more!
Our commitment to quality and unparalleled customer service is expressed in
all facets of The Cortez Club. From arrival, our clients are given attention
and service rivalled by none. Our guests are picked-up at the airport and transported
to their hotel and they need never touch their equipment except when diving.
(We take care of the more mundane tasks of loading, unloading, washing and drying
of equipment, all to insure the maximum enjoyment of each dive.)
